LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rogers State softball moved up to No. 6 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
The Hillcats jumped two spots from last week's poll. RSU remains the highest-ranked MIAA team in the poll ahead of No. 13 Central Oklahoma and Pittsburg State, who received votes. They also became the highest-ranked team in the Central Region ahead of No. 7 Augustana and No. 16 Harding in addition to UCO and PSU.
 
The Hillcats open MIAA play on Friday, March 7 as they welcome Emporia State to the RCB Bank Sports Complex. First pitch for the doubleheader is set for 2 p.m.
