LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rogers State softball checked in at No. 16 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
RSU is still the second highest-ranked MIAA team in the poll behind No. 4 Central Oklahoma and ahead of No. 24 Pittsburg State. They are also still the fourth highest-ranked team in the Central Region behind No. 8 Augustana and No. 12 Southern Arkansas and ahead of No. 23 Harding.
 
The Hillcats begin their postseason journey on Thursday, May 1 as the No. 3-seed in the MIAA Tournament and take on No. 6 Washburn in the quarterfinals in Hays. Kans. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
