Monteremal Named PING All-Central Region

NORMAN, Okla. - Rogers State men's golf's Elliot-han Monteremal earned PING All-Central Region honors, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced on Wednesday.

A native of Montelimar, France, Monteremal put together a strong senior campaign for the Hillcats as he finished ranked 10th in the region with a scoring average of 71.8. He strung together six top 10 finishes, with three inside the top 3 during the regular season. Monteremal captured two individual tournament titles at the Battle for the Belt in the Fall and the Hillcat Classic in the Spring, while leading RSU to team wins at both The Tulsa Cup and the Hillcat Classic. He picked up All-MIAA honors after finishing in a tie for 16th at the MIAA Championships.

Monteremal capped off his season, earning an at-large bid to the NCAA Midwest/Central Region Championship. At the tournament, he finished in a tie for tie for 27th.
