BOULDER CITY, Nev. -Â Rogers State women's golf's Lydia Sitorus closed out the second day of competition at the NCAA Division II National Championships on Wednesday.
After 36 holes at the par 72, 6,161 yard Boulder Creek Golf Club, the senior sits in a four-way tie for 83rd after shooting a 77 (+5) on the day, with a total card of 153 (+9).
Sitorus faced some adversity early on in her round as she came up with bogeys on No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6. However, she bounced back and finished the front nine strong with a birdie on No. 7 and two pars on No. 8 and No. 9.
Overall, the Bitung, Indonesia native put together a solid back nine with seven pars. Unfortunately, Sitorus had two hiccups with a bogey on No. 11 and finished with a double bogey on No. 18.Â
She will look to climb back up the leaderboard in the final round tomorrow. Sitorus is set to tee off at 12 p.m. CT.
