BOULDER CITY, Nev. -Â Rogers State women's golf's Lydia Sitorus has been named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Central Region team, the organization announced Friday.
A native of Bitung, Indonesia, Sitorus wrapped up an incredible Hillcat career ranked third in the Central Region with a scoring average of 73.7. She racked up eight top 10 finishes during the season, with five top 3 finishes and wins at the NSU Women's Classic and The Tulsa Cup. Sitorus also led the Hillcats to three tournament wins at the NSU Classic, the Tulsa Cup and the Hillcat Classic.Â
The senior finished in a tie for fourth at the NCAA Central Region Championship, earning her third bid to the NCAA Division II National Championships in four years. At the National Championships, Sitorus finished in a tie for 55th with a card of 222 (+6), including an outstanding final round where she shot a 69 (-3).
Earlier this season, she was also named First Team All-MIAA.
