No. 8 Men's Soccer Secures Highest Ever National Ranking

RSU surpassed its highest USC ranking of ninth in 2021

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The United Soccer Coaches (USC) released its Week 4 Top 25 poll, and Rogers State Men's Soccer (6-0-2) has made its way into the top 10, debuting at No. 8. This marks the highest ranking in the program's history; the Hillcats previously reached as high as No. 9 in 2021.

Rogers State opened conference play with two dominant road victories, defeating Harding 5-0 and Ouachita Baptist 2-0. Junior Jaxon Kendall was named the GAC/MIAA Goalkeeper of the Week for the third time this season, recording a career-high seven saves against Harding and achieving his 25th save of the season against Ouachita Baptist.

The Hillcats will host No. 13 Fort Hays State (5-0-2, 1-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m. Both teams enter the match undefeated, making it one of the biggest contests at Soldier Field in recent years.

Rogers State will also host its homecoming game on Saturday against Newman (4-1-2, 1-0), which is receiving votes in the poll. Kickoff against the Jets is scheduled for 1 p.m.
