Women’s Cross Country Idles at Fourth in Central Region Rankings

There were no changes to the top five in the USTFCCCA poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its Week 4 NCAA Division II Regional rankings on Tuesday, and the No. 18 Hillcats remained at fourth in the region.
 
There were no changes from last week's poll, as Winona State remained in the top position, followed by Pittsburg State in second, Missouri Southern in third and Nebraska-Kearney rounding out the top five.

The RSU cross country teams are set to compete at the 37th Annual Chili Pepper Festival at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville on Saturday, Oct. 4. The No. 18-ranked women's team will either race in the Harter's Habanero event at 11 a.m. or the Prairie Fire Pepper race at 12:10 p.m. Meanwhile, the men's team will participate in the McDonnell Memorial race at 10:25 a.m. or the Prairie Fire Pepper at 11:25 a.m.
