Chris Klimas has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026 season.
The Hillcats look to improve on their 29-20 (19-17 overall) record from last season, where they finished fifth in the MIAA Regular Season standings and punched their ticket to the MIAA Tournament for the fifth-straight season.

RSU will play 29 games at the RCB Sports Complex, beginning with the season-opening four-game series against the UMary Marauders from Feb. 6-8. The teams will meet for a single game on Friday at 1 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon and the finale on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Additional non-conference home games include a three-game series against Missouri-St. Louis on Feb. 14-15, a midweek game against East Central on Feb. 17 and a pair of doubleheaders against Minnesota Duluth on March 6-7.
Non-conference road play will kick off with a midweek clash with East Central on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. They will also travel to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State in non-conference play on March 10 at 2 p.m
MIAA play will open at home with a three-game series against Missouri Southern on Feb. 20-22. Rival Northeastern State will visit Claremore March 13-15. Later in March, Arkansas-Fort Smith (March 25), Emporia State (March 27-29) and Central Oklahoma (March 31) will also come to town.
In April, Northwest Missouri State will visit on April 10-12, followed by Washburn on April 17-19. Senior Day is set for April 22 against Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Conference road play begins with a three-game series against Fort Hays State on Feb. 27-March 1, followed by midweek games at Northeastern State on March 14 and Central Oklahoma on March 17. The Hillcats will then meet the Newman Jets for a three-game series in Wichita on March 20-22.
April starts with a series against the national runner-up, Central Missouri, on April 2-4. The Cats will then travel to Arkansas-Fort Smith on April 7 and Central Oklahoma on April 14, followed by a three-game series at Pittsburg State on April 24-26 and at Missouri Western on April 30-May 2 to close out the regular season.
The 2026 MIAA Tournament will take place in Edmond, May 6-10. NCAA Tournament action will begin May 14-16 with the Central Regionals, followed by the Supers May 21-23. The College World Series will be held in Cary, North Carolina, May 29 – June 6.
