KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) announced its academic awards for the 2025-26 women's basketball season, honoring 10 Hillcats.
The student-athletes named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll include
Kyra Allison,
Michelle Arens,
Ataya Casaus,
Ella Hafer,
Destiny Jones,
Bailey Layman,
Cheyan McDaniel-Deatherage,
Kate Melton,
Addison Mootry, and
Isabella Stafford.
To qualify for the league's Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.00 or higher at their institution and must have attended for at least two terms, excluding summer sessions.

These 2025-26 women's basketball academic awards do not include first year student-athletes or first-year transfers. The MIAA will release separate academic awards for its 2025-26 newcomers in June, once the student-athletes have completed at least two terms of attendance at the certifying MIAA member institution.
