Hillcats Reside in 14th After Opening Two Rounds of 2026 NCAA D-II Women’s Golf Championship

RSU has tallied a team score of 625 (+49) after 36 holes at the PGA National Resort in Florida

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – After two rainy rounds at the par-72 PGA National Resort, the RSU women's golf team sits in 14th place at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship. Both rounds have required rain delays.
 
The Hillcats shot a 317 (+29) in round one, which was finished on Wednesday morning, and a 308 (+29) in round two, bringing their 36-hole total to 625 (+49). Dallas Baptist leads the team race with a two-round tally of 587 (+11). Just one stroke behind them is Wingate (+12), while Anderson (+26), CSUSM (+26) and St. Mary's (+29) round out the top five. UT Tyler is in eighth (+40), which is the cut line for the medal round.
 
Sophomore Milena Andres leads the Hillcats individually, tied for 32nd with a two-round score of 153 (+9). The Villa Allende, Argentina, native recorded a 77 (+5) in the first round and a 76 (+4) in the second. She tallied four birdies, with two in each round.
 
Freshman Lou Fourdan recorded a 155 (+11) and is tied for 46th after 36 holes. The native of Carnac, France, shot a 77 (+5) in the first round and a 78 (+6) in the second. Fourdan has finished even par or better on 22 holes.
 
Freshman Clara Ledun is tied for 64th place with a two-round score of 159 (+15). The La Salvetat Saint-Gilles, France, native shot an 82 (+10) in the first round and a 77 (+5) in the second round. She has recorded four birdies, including two to finish round one.
 
Senior Brianna Maddux is tied for 70th with a two-round total of 161 (+17). The Owasso, Oklahoma, native recorded an 81 (+9) in the first round and an 80 (+8) in the second. She has finished even par on 23 holes.
 
Junior Lauren Anderson is tied for 76th place with a total score of 162 (+18) after two rounds. The Tontitown, Arkansas, native recorded an 85 (+13) in the first round but improved significantly in the second round, shooting a 77 (+5) to rise 15 spots on the leaderboard.
 
The Hillcats will wrap up stroke play tomorrow morning at 9:12 a.m. CT. They will need to finish in the top eight to reach the medal match rounds on Friday and Saturday.
