PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Hillcat Women's Golf concluded a memorable season with a 15
th-place finish at the 2026 NCAA Division II National Championship at the par-72 PGA National Resort.
Co-MIAA Coach of the Year
Lexi Johnson's Hillcats finished the season with 10 top-five finishes, including team titles at the NSU Women's Classic and the 11
th Annual Hillcat Classic. In her first season, she guided the Cats to third-place finishes at both the MIAA Championship and the NCAA Central Region Championship.
The Hillcats shot a 313 (+25) in the final round on Thursday, bringing their three-round total to 938 (+74). They finished ahead of Colorado St-Pueblo (+92), Minnesota State (+110) and Nebraska-Kearney (+120). Wingate (+13) finished 10 strokes ahead of Dallas Baptist (+33) at the end of stroke play.
MIAA Freshman of the Year
Lou Fourdan and sophomore All-MIAA Honorable Mention
Milena Andres finished tied for 34
th with a three-round total of 231 (+15). Fourdan jumped 12 spots with a 76 (+4) in the final round, while Andres collected a 78 (+6) that featured two birdies.
Clara Ledun capped off her freshman year tied for 53
rd with a final tally of 235 (+19). The freshman moved up 11 spots with 76 (+4) in the final round that consisted of four birdies.
Senior
Brianna Maddux and junior
Lauren Anderson tied for 77
th with a tournament total of 245 (+29). The Hillcats will give a big farewell to Maddux, who finished her career as a two-time All-MIAA honoree and became the program's first NCAA Elite Scholar Athlete and MIAA "A Game" Scholar Athlete recipient. Anderson excelled in her junior campaign with six top-15 finishes and an All-MIAA Honorable Mention honor.
