Andrew Ramirez and
Andres Contreras have been named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Second Team, the organization announced Monday.

Ramirez, a second-team utility selection, earned his second career regional honor after previously being named to the ABCA All-Defensive Team in 2025. This season, the senior from Ramona, California, made the All-MIAA First Team for the second consecutive year as a utility player. He started all 55 games in the middle infield, posting an impressive slash line of .323/.440/.488. Ramirez recorded 70 hits, 56 RBIs, 55 runs and 41 walks in 217 plate appearances. He also registered 21 extra-base hits, including 13 doubles, seven home runs and one triple.

Contreras, a second-team designated hitter, enjoyed a standout senior year for the Hillcats. The Chula Vista, California, native was named to the All-MIAA Second Team as a designated hitter for the second straight year. He excelled at the plate, finishing with a .374 batting average, a .478 on-base percentage and a .527 slugging percentage. In 203 plate appearances, he recorded 76 hits, 54 RBIs, 51 runs and 36 walks. Of his hits, 17 were for extra bases, including 10 doubles, six home runs and one triple. Contreras also received MIAA Player of the Week honors on March 16.

Ramirez and Contreras are the first Hillcat players to earn D2CCA regional recognition since Jesse Holguin in 2022.
