INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – No. 9 RSU Baseball (38-12) held its position at No. 2 in the NCAA Division II Central Region Rankings, which were released Wednesday afternoon. The Hillcats concluded the regular season with a 38-12 record against in-region opponents.
The Hillcats are among six MIAA teams featured in the regional rankings. Leading the region is Pittsburg State, followed by Rogers State in second, Central Missouri in third, Northwest Missouri State in fourth, Missouri Southern in fifth and Emporia State in ninth.
In addition, Arkansas Tech from the GAC is ranked 10th, while Minnesota State (sixth), Mary (seventh) and Augustana (eighth) from the NSIC also made the list.

The NCAA Central Region Championships are set for May 14-17, followed by the NCAA Division II Super Region Championships from May 21-23. Eight teams advancing from the NCAA Super Regional will compete for the 2026 championship.
The NCAA National Championships are set to take place in Cary, North Carolina, from May 29 to June 6.
Rogers State Baseball achieved its highest-ever MIAA Tournament seeding, finishing second in the regular season. They will take on MoWest in the quarterfinals tomorrow at 4 p.m. in Edmond at Well Simmons Field.
