WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Rogers State Men's Golf kicked off the fall season this morning with the opening two rounds of The Mule at Mules Nation GC, a par 70 layout measuring 6,399 yards.
RSU resides in 17
th in the team race with a two-round score of 558 (+28). Central Oklahoma tallied a scorecard of 542 (-18) and has a commanding 15-stroke lead over Central Missouri (-3), which is currently in second. Missouri Southern (+1), Washburn (+11) and Sioux Falls (+12) round out the top five.
Freshman
Max Ricart led the team and opened the first rounds of his collegiate career with a 71 (+1) in round one and a 75 (+5) in round two, bringing his scorecard to 146. The Barcelona, Spain, native used three birdies to finish the day tied for 44th.
Ben Field II resides in a tie for 67
th with a card of 150 (+10). After a bumpy start in the first round, the Owasso native finished strong in the second round with a one-under-par score of 69 to jump 30 spots.
Callum Brown is tied for 71
st with a score of 151 (+11). He is followed by
Dylan Ros and
Kobsak Phisitbuntoon, who are tied for 77
th with a two-round score of 152 (+12).
