Biography

About: Fauchier returns for her senior season after starting all 59 games for the Hillcats in 2012 as a junior. She ranked top three on the team in 11 offensive statistical categories as she was named to the All-Sooner Athletic Conference team for the third consecutive year. Fauchier was first on the team in hits (62) and second with a .313 batting average as the everyday shortstop. Her .972 fielding percentage earned the Choctaw, Okla. native her second SAC Gold-Glove Team recognition. As a sophomore in 2011 she started in 61 games for the Hillcats and was named All-SAC First Team. She was named RSU Best Defensive Player for the 2010 season with a fielding percentage of .945 as a shortstop and was named to the SAC Gold Glove team. Fauchier signed with the Hillcats following a standout prep career at Choctaw High School. She hit .464 with five doubles and six triples to lead the Lady Jackets to a regional championship. Fauchier was named all-conference and all-state and said she chose RSU because “I fell in love with the campus and the coach.”
