About: Lindtner is back on the Hill for his senior campaign in 2015 after being one of three RSU players to start all 17 matches a season ago. The Haugesund, Norway native tied for third on the Hillcats' scoring list totaling 12 points on three goals and six assists in his first year with the navy and red. Lindtner came to the Hill after spending two seasons at Northern Oklahoma College – Tonkawa playing for Head Coach Michael DuRoy. He earned NOC Defender of the Year honors in 2013 as a sophomore. The Mavericks won the Region II championship both seasons of Lindtner's tenure while he also was selected to the NJCAA All-Region II team. He landed on the President's Honor Roll and was selected as an Outstanding Radio and TV Student at NOC. Lindtner previously played for FK Haugesun in the Norwegian Third Division under Head Coach Tor Martin Hegrenes before coming to the United States. The son of Leif and Mona Lindtner, he said he chose RSU because of "the great communications program and athletic facilities."
