About: Alder comes to the Hill in the footsteps of her older brother, Tanner, a member of the RSU men's golf team. The South Ogden, Utah native joins the Hillcats following an impressive four-year career at Bonneville High School where she helped Head Coach Blair Garner and the Lakers to two state championships, a runner-up, and a third-place finish at the state meet. Alder placed second in the individual state championships as a senior firing a 75 at East Bay Golf Course earning first-team all-state honors while serving as team captain. She was named second-team all-state during her junior campaign after earning honorable mention accolades as a sophomore and was a three-time, first-team all-region selection. She landed a spot on the Bonneville High Honor Roll all four years. Born Talmage McCall Alder to Scott and Robynn Alder, she said she chose RSU because "it was the perfect opportunity to excel both in the classroom and on the course. I love the campus, dorms, and atmosphere."
