Prep: Came to RSU from Harker Heights High School where he was a sprinter and long jumper for the Knights...The Killeen, Texas native helped his 4x400 meter relay team finish in third place at the Texas 6A state meet and third at the USATF Nationals, earning All-American honors...At the AAU Nationals, the 4x400 team placed fifth...During his prep career, he recorded a personal best in the long jump of 22 feet, four inches...Timed 11.2 seconds in the 100 meter dash and 22.4 seconds in the 200 meter dash, while posting a 50.09 in the 400 meters...As a junior, he received the Great Sportsmanship and Dedication Award for competing at the UIL regional and state track meets.
