ABOUT THE RSU DANCE TEAM
The RSU Dance Team promotes the spirit of Rogers State University and Hillcat Athletics through its performances at a variety of campus events, men’s and women’s basketball games and community events. As representatives of the university, our dancers embody the collegiate image with unmatched pride for our university and athletic programs. Let’s Go Hillcats!
Our goal for the 2025-2026 season is to encourage growth, not only for our dance program and student-athletes, but also as individuals who make an impact in the community. Our current team is made up of 10 unique personalities and talents. We value the individuality of our dancers, as each member is an essential asset to the success of our dance program.
We strive for both high athletic achievement and academic excellence. The determination and spirit of our team members are exemplified in all aspects of their lives, whether it be on the national floor, the RSU basketball court or within the classroom. Our team is built with trust, hard work and the Hillcat family that we create together. Coming from a variety of majors and programs, our dancers not only excel as members of our team but also pursue their own academic passions during their time at Rogers State University.
This year, we are excited to represent RSU at DTU: The College Classic National Competition in Orlando, Florida. We will compete in April 2026 with a routine in the DII Hip Hop category, alongside some of the nation's best dance teams. Our team will dedicate a significant portion of the season to preparing the routine that we will perform on the national floor, as our goal is to continue the success of RSU Dance at the national level and help grow the program in the future.
