Connor Moore is in his first season with the Rogers State Men’s Basketball team, joining the Hillcats as an assistant coach prior to the 2019-20 season.
Moore comes to RSU after finishing a playing career at Hamline University in Minnesota, where he was a four-year letter winner for the Pipers. The Mayville, North Dakota native played in 21 of the Pipers 25 games as a guard during his senior season, shooting 43 percent from the field.
Following Moore’s senior season, he coached the Minnesota Heat 10th grade AAU Team based out of Minneapolis for the spring and summer.
Moore was a member of the Leadership Council at Hamline and was the team’s captain as a senior. He also earned MIAC All-Sportsmanship Team honors as a senior and was given the Piper Award.
A servant in the local community, Moore volunteered at Hamline Elementary School, Feed My Starving Children and Making Strides for Breast Cancer during his time in Minnesota. Prior to Hamline, Moore volunteered for Relay for Life and Feed My Starving Children in high school.
A product of May-Port CG, Moore led his high school basketball team as the captain to the state tournament as a senior. He also played on the North Dakota High School State Championship Baseball team as a senior.
Moore graduated from Hamline in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
