Biography

About: Jackson transferred to RSU in January 2010. He spent the 2008-09 season at Northern Oklahoma College averaging 10 points, five assists, and six rebounds per game. Jackson earned tournament honorable mention and was named one of the Top 100 JUCO players. He said he chose RSU because “of the good program and great coaching staff.”


Barkley on Jackson: “He is an explosive player off the bounce that can make plays not only for himself but also for others. He has really improved his jump shot over the off season. I really enjoy the things Sterling brings to the table. I think he brings a competitive attitude to our team that will make us better, especially on the road.”
