Biography

About: Pitts is back at RSU for his senior season in 2015 after being one of three Hillcats to start all 17 matches a season ago. From his spot along the back line, the Tulsa, Oklahoma native tallied five goals in 2014, ranking third on the team, and added two assists for 12 total points. His goal against Texas A&M International proved to be the game winner in a 1-0 home win for RSU. Pitts appeared in all of the Hillcats' 18 matches in 2013 making 17 starts at defender. He netted two goals for four points as a sophomore, scoring his first of the season at NCAA Division I Oral Roberts. Pitts also earned a spot on the 2013-14 Heartland Conference President's Honor Roll and the 2014 RSU Honor Roll. He appeared in 14 games in 2012 and scored one goal in his freshman season. Pitts joined the Hillcats from Union High School where he was a four-year letter winner. In his senior season, he scored two goals and was named all-state, first team all-metro, first team all-conference, and academic all-conference. The son of Eric and Laura Rigsby, he said he chose RSU because of "the great soccer program."
