About: Hammack begins his collegiate career in his hometown as the former Claremore High School standout joins the Hillcats track and field team for their inaugural season. He earned the Wendy's Heisman Award and the Elks Lodge Student-Athlete Award as a senior with the Zebras in 2015 following an eighth-place performance in the 300 hurdles at the state track meet. Hammack holds school records in the 4x200 and 4x400 relays and qualified for the state championships each of his four years at CHS. The son of Alex and Rachel Hammack, he chose RSU because "I wanted to run track and it's close to home."
