Logan Froese

Logan Froese begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Rogers State women’s basketball program during the 2016-17 campaign. Froese, the all-time leading scorer in RSU women's basketball history, returned to the coaching ranks at her alma mater in June 2015.

In her assistant coaching role with the Hillcats, Froese works on individual player development, while handling all travel arrangements along with all other operational aspects of travel. She also is the academic coordinator for the student-athletes.

She spent the 2014-15 season working as a graduate manager for NCAA Division I University of Tulsa managing preseason workouts and conditioning, developing scouting reports and game plans, while working primarily with the post players. Froese helped the post players for the Golden Hurricane develop their footwork with one-on-one drills and daily teachings.

The Claremore, Oklahoma native was a four-year letter winner for the Hillcats from 2009-2013 earning NAIA All-America Honorable Mention honors as a senior in 2012-13 leading RSU to the NAIA National Championships for the second time. Froese was named All-Sooner Athletic Conference Second Team that year, while also landing on the conference all-tournament team. She was an honorable mention all-conference selection and named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament team in 2011-12.

Froese amassed 1,188 points in a program-leading 129 appearances, including 92 starts, and also holds RSU records in rebounds, field goals made, and free throws made. Following her playing career on the Hill, she remained with the Hillcats as a student assistant during the 2013-14 campaign.
