His journey began at Bixby Public Schools in 2024, where he worked with primary athletic populations, including football, wrestling and basketball, along with all affiliated varsity and junior varsity sports. He then moved to the Oklahoma State University Sports Medicine department, focusing primarily on football.

Ball also worked with the University of Kansas Health System, specializing in women's rowing, before completing a rotation at the University of Illinois Sports Medicine, where he concentrated on men's gymnastics while supporting the women's gymnastics and both men's and women's tennis programs.

He holds certifications as a Master Athletic Trainer (MAT) and Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC). Additionally, he is QPR Gatekeeper Certified, a credential aimed at suicide prevention strategies.

A native of Tulsa, Ball earned his bachelor's degree in applied exercise science from Oklahoma State University in 2024 and obtained his master's degree in athletic training from OSU in 2026.

While pursuing his degrees in sports medicine, Ball competed collegiately as a tight end at MidAmerica Nazarene University during his freshman year (2020-21) and served as a member and recruiting chair for Oklahoma State University's rowing team from 2021 to 2023.
