BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - Rogers State had no trouble rebounding from the Thanksgiving break as the Hillcats crushed Central Baptist College, 103-52 at Bartlesville High School on Saturday.

Trad Williams gave the Mustangs their only lead of the game with a three point basket in the opening minute. RSU responded with a 15-0 run and never looked back. Six Hillcats finished in double figures, led by sophomore Sylvester Spicer with 22. Spicer went 10-of-13 from the floor and grabbed 10 rebounds to record a double-double.

The Hillcats dominated the boards by a 50-26 margin. RSU recorded 23 offensive rebounds which resulted in 27 second chance points. Roderick Rodgers had 15 points while Bryson Krueger added 14. Chris Francis, Spencer Schrupp and Abram Donlon had 10 points apiece off the bench. RSU shot 56-percent from the field for the game.

The Hillcats led 52-25 at the half sparked by two 15-0 runs. RSU emptied its bench in the second half, but the offensive barrage continued. Francis buried a three from the wing with 1:50 remaining to reach the century mark, 100-49. All 11 Hillcat players scored at least one basket as the bench scored 41 points.

RSU (5-0) kept its undefeated record intact and will travel to Southeastern Oklahoma State on Monday. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. and the game can be heard live on RSU Radio 91.3 FM.
