CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Rogers State women's soccer team awoke from a quiet first half with three second half goals to post a 3-0 victory over Southwestern College (Winfield, Kan.) Friday night at Soldier Field in Claremore.

The Hillcats were shutout until the 51st minute of the match when Tiffany Roberts rebounded a missed shot off the crossbar by Lauren Hager and drilled it into the back of the net. Roberts setup Shereen Clarke for a goal just three minutes later as RSU methodically put the game away.
Â
Freshman Brittney McDonald tallied the third and final goal with a perfectly placed shot from the middle of the field that sailed high and out of the reach of Southwestern goalie Rachel Muth. RSU Goalkeeper Bailey Lynn picked up her fourth shutout of the season without posting a save. The Hillcats outshot the Builders 26-1 and didn't allow a single shot on goal.

Rogers State (7-0) remained perfect with the victory and will put its unblemished record on the line again Sunday afternoon against Ottawa University at Soldier Field. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m.
