OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.- The Rogers State women's soccer team suffered their first Sooner Athletic Conference loss of the season, falling 1-0 at No. 23 Oklahoma City University on Tuesday evening at Stars Field.
OCU sophomore Sheridan Horner scored the game-winning goal off a corner kick by Malin Anderson in the 53rd minute of play.
Freshman goalkeeper Chelsea McMullin took the loss in goal for the Hillcats, making 11 saves.
The OCU defense held RSU to just one shot in the game and goalkeeper Brittany Tibbs earned the win in the net.
The Hillcat women (6-3, 2-1 SAC) look to bounce back on Saturday, Oct. 9 as they host Oklahoma Baptist University at 5 p.m.
