CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State track & field program and head coach
Matt Kennedy have announced the indoor track & field schedule for the upcoming season.
The Hillcats will have three meets in Pittsburg, Kansas and two meets, including the conference championship meet, in Topeka, Kansas.
Rogers State begins the indoor season on January 16 with a trip to Pittsburg State for the Crimson & Gold Invitational, an event the Hillcats have competed in regularly, but has typically been held in December.
Two weeks later, the Hillcats will have a split squad for two meets. The Hillcats will send some members of the team to the Washburn Open hosted in Topeka, Kansas at the WU Indoor Athletic Facility. The Washburn Open will be January 29 and 30.
Rogers State will also send runners to the Wendy's Pittsburg State Invitational at the Robert W. Plaster Center on January 30.
On February 12 and 13, the Hillcats will have their final tune up before the MIAA Indoor Championships, running at the 6th Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg.
The MIAA Indoor Championships will be held in Topeka, Kansas at Washburn University on February 27 and 28.
Start times and other meet information for all meets will be announced at a later date.
