CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Rogers State softball program and head coach
Andrea Vaughan have announced the complete non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2021 softball season, as well as times for MIAA games.
Rogers State added 18 non-conference games to the 2021 schedule, beginning with four games over two days at the Harding Festival in Searcy, Arkansas on February 19-20 to begin the season.
The Hillcats will play Arkansas Tech and Arkansas - Monticello once and host Harding twice on the opening weekend.
Rogers State will open up the home schedule the following week with a midweek doubleheader against Cameron on February 24. The Hillcats also add home doubleheaders against Missouri S&T on March 6 and Texas A&M – Commerce on March 30.
The Missouri S&T doubleheader will be the final tune up prior to MIAA play, which is set to begin March 12 at home against Newman.
Game times for midweek and Friday home games for the Hillcats are set for 3/5 p.m. Saturday games at the Diamond Sports Complex are slated for 12/2 p.m. starts.
The softball program will travel to Texas Woman's and Texas A&M – Commerce for doubleheaders on February 27 and March 2, respectively.
The Hillcats are also set to compete in the HiVee Classic in St. Joseph, Missouri on March 19-20. Rogers State will play Augustana, Wayne State, St. Cloud and Sioux Falls at the HiVee Classic.
The Hillcats also made one switch to the conference schedule, moving a road trip to Fort hays State and Nebraska-Kearney from March to an open weekend in late April. The Hillcats will now play Fort Hays State on April 23 and Nebraska-Kearney on April 24.
