PITTSBURG, Kan. - The Rogers State Women's track and field team competed at the MIAA Track and Field Championships on Saturday, competing in the first of two days of events.

Key Performances: Katelyn Alexander set a school record for the Hillcats in the indoor 5k run. Alexander ran a time of 19:22.42 to finish in 15th place.

Brianna DeAngelis wouldn't be too far behind her finishing with a time of 19:33.74, which would have been the school record as well.

The previous record in the 5000-meter was held by DeAngelis, set earlier this month in Joplin, Missouri.
