KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Rogers State Baseball team had 10 members named to the MIAA Baseball Honor Roll, announced the association Friday morning.

Senior
Corey Murphy, a Sport Management major, led the way for the Hillcats with a GPA of 3.97. Junior
Case Woodard was second on the team with a 3.87 GPA in Business Administration. Senior
Seth Gerardy, also a Sport Management major, is third with a 3.81.

Senior Grant Ruthernberg, a Psychology major, holds a GPA of 3.80. Business Administration majors
Dylan Russell, a junior, and
Patrick Reynier, a senior, hold GPAs of 3.69 and 3.55.

Senior Communication majors
Brandon Bradshaw and
Christian Merriwether also made the list. Bradshaw holds a 3.25 and Merriwether holds a 3.09. Senior
CJ Edwards holds a 3.06 in Medical/Molecular Biology and Senior
Nick Follett holds a 3.05 in Sport Management to wrap up the Hillcats on the list.

To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.

The 2020 season was shortened when the NCAA canceled all spring championships on March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hillcats look forward to next year as they prep for their second year in the MIAA.
