KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Roger State men's golf team finished day one of a windy Central Region/NSIC Preview Invitational tied for seventh place out of 26 teams at the Shoal Creek Golf Club. Winds ranged from 25-to-35 mph, with gust up to 50 mph.

i was the lone Hillcat to finish in the top ten, sitting in seventh place with a score of 75. He shot 37 on the front nine and 38 on the back nine. The junior finished the day with five birdies on holes seven, eight, nine, 13, and 14, and four pars on the day.
Aiden Gavey finished the day in the day with a score of 78 and is tied for 29th place in the individual standings. He shot 40 on the front nine and 38 on the back, with 10 pars and a birdie on the 10th hole.

William Barnak also finished day one with a score of 78 to sit tied with Gavey. Barnak shot 39 on the front nine and 39 on the back nine. He finished the day with 11 pars and a birdie on the 13th hole.
Elliot-Han Monteremal finished the day with a score of 79 and is tied for 47th. He shot 40 on the front nine and 39 on the back nine, with nine pars and a birdie on hole 15.
The Men's golf team wrap up the Central Region/NSIC Preview Invitational tomorrow. Tee time is set for 8:00 a.m. with the Hillcats beginning to tee off at 8:50 a.m.
