Kansas CITY, Mo. – The Roger State men's golf team finished the Central Regional /NSIC Preview Invitational with a ninth out of 26 teams at the Shoal Creek Golf Club. The weather produced cooler temperatures with a wind chill of 36 degrees and Northwesterly winds of 20 mph with gust of 30 mph.
Luke Palmowsk
i led the Hillcats on day two and was the lone Hillcat to finish in the top ten with a seventh place finish. Palmowski ended up with a score of 72. He shot 36 on the front nine and 36 on the back nine. The junior finished the day with nine pars and four birdies on holes two, seven, 12, and 18.
William Barnak and
Elliot-Han Monteremal finished the day tied in 27th in the individual standings.
Monteremal finished round two with a score of 75, shooting 38 on the front nine and 37 on the back nine. He had 11 pars and picked up birdies on holes one and seven.
Barnak finished with a score of 76 on day two, shooting 39 on the front nine and 37 on the back nine holes. He had 12 pars and birdies on holes six and 13.
Aiden Gavey finished the day with a score of 82 and took 66th place in the individual standings. He shot 43 on the front nine and 39 on the back nine holes and finished the day with nine pars to round out the scoring for the Hillcats.
Rogers State will return to action at the Central Missouri Mule Invitational on April 5-6 at the Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg, Missouri.
