MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf closed out the MSSU Men's Fall Invitational in a tie for third place on Tuesday.
After three rounds at the Par 72, 6,876-yard Shangri-La Country Club, the Hillcats finished in a tie for third after turning in a card of 878 (+14) for the tournament.
Freshman Daniel Robles led the squad in a six-way tie for 14th after shooting 219 (+3, 73, 73, 73). He finished the tournament with 13 birdies and an eagle.
Next in was Luke Palmowski in 20th with a 220 (+4, 70, 78, 72). Aidan Gavey was right behind in a five-way tie for 21st with a 221 (+5, 72, 71, 78). Gonzalo Chavez finished in a four-way tie for 45th with a card of 226 (+10, 72, 82, 72). Elliot-Han Monteremal rounded out the group in a three-way tie for 66th with a 231 (+15, 76, 74, 81).
The Hillcats will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 11 as they travel to Detroit, Mich. to compete in the Motor City Invite/National Preview at TPC Michigan.
