BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf completed a rain soaked first day of the 2022 edition of The Tulsa Cup on Monday.
 
After 18 holes at the par 72, 6,888 yard Club at Indian Springs, the Hillcats first team sits in 12th place with a card of 312 (+24) while the second team is in a tie for 15th with a card of 318 (+30).
 
Jack Roche leads the first team in a large group of 10 tied at 32nd after shooting 77 (+5) on the day. Ty Nicar and Elliot-Han Monteremal are in a group of eight tied at 42nd turning in a cards of 78 (+6). Tyler Collier is in a large group of 10 tied at 50th with a 79 (+7). Tyler Cornwell rounds out the squad in a large group of 10 tied at 67th with an 81 (+9).
 
Pedro Benjumea leads the second team in a three-way tie for 20th after shooting 75 (+3). Kaden Armstrong is in a group of seven tied at 60th with an 80 (+8). Maddox Bullen is in the group of 10 tied at 67th with an 81 (+9). Traden Karch rounds out the squad in a four-way tied for 77th with an 82 (+10).
 
The Hillcats will wrap up the tournament with the final round tomorrow. A shotgun start is set for 10 a.m.
