PITTSBURG, Kan.– Rogers State men's and women's track and field wrapped up competition on the first day of the Gorilla Classic on Friday.

In the women's 600 yard,
Madison Lemons finished 18th with a time of 1:34.40.

In the women's 5,000 meter,
Brianna DeAngelis finished seventh and set a new school record with a time of 17:57.84, passing the previous best mark of 18:10.32 set by
Jillian Skalicky earlier this season.
Gloria Butts finished 18th with a new personal best time of 18:20.80.
Tori Wood finished 27th with a new personal best time of 18:59.24.

In the women's distance medley relay, the team of
Katie Byrd,
Jayden Lazzari,
Jocelyn Turney and
Riley Coleman combined for a 10th place finish with a time of 12:36.46.

On the men's side,
Julius Oheim finished 14th in the men's 5,000 meter with a new personal best time of 15:05.61.
Kyle Ginn finished 23rd with a new personal best time of 15:20.97.
Caden Goss finished 25th with a time of 15:21.95.
Hunter Hart finished 31st with a new personal best time of 15:27.26.
Kory Wilson finished 53rd with a time of 16:04.60.

In the men's distance medley relay, the team of
Carlos Vallejo,
Garry Rose,
Jon Biersdorfer and
Jackson Stinnett combined for 15th place with a new school record of 10:22.15, passing the previous best time of 10:31.31 that they set earlier this season.
