OWASSO, Okla. – Rogers State men's golf are the leaders in the clubhouse after the first day of the Hillcat Classic on Monday.
After 36 holes at the Par 72, 6,695-yard Bailey Ranch Golf Club, the Hillcats sit in first place after turning in a card of 576 (-10).
Luke Palmowski leads the field after shooting 141 (-2). In the two rounds, he sank 11 birdies.
Gonzalo Chaves sits in second with a card of 142 (-2) and has the low round of the tournament with a 66 in the second round. Aidan Gavey is in fifth with a 146 (+2). Daniel Robles is in a three-way tie for seventh with a 148 (+4). Ty Nicar is in a three-way tie for 10th with a 149 (+5). Tyler Cornwell rounded out the group in a four-way tie for 21st after shooting 153 (+9).
In the other group for RSU, William Barnak is in a tie for 29th with a 155 (+11). Bradley Wright is in a three-way for 33rd with a 157 (+13). Carson Stookey is in a tie for 38th with a 159 (+15). Niko Coccio is in a three way tie for 41st with a with a 160 (+16). Logan Meehan rounded out the group in 56th with a 170 (+26).
The Hillcats will close out the final round of the tournament tomorrow with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
