Rogers State Awarded Host Site For 2024 NCAA Women’s Golf Central Regional

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State Athletics has been awarded the host site for the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Central Regional Championship, the NCAA announced on Thursday.

"We are incredibly thankful for the NCAA Women's Golf Committee selecting Rogers State University to host the 2024 NCAA Women's Golf Regional," Director of Athletics Dr. Chris Ratcliff said. "Hosting this NCAA Women's Golf Regional Championship is an excellent opportunity to display our university, athletic department, and the historic Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville. I am excited for Coach Hocutt, and our nationally ranked women's golf team. We look forward to putting on a first-class event in 2024."

The Hillcats will host the regional championship on May 6-8, 2024 at the historic Hillcrest Country Club located in Bartlesville, Okla.

Rogers State women's golf has become one of the top programs in Division II over the last two years. In 2021, the Hillcats finished second at the Central Regional Championships and made their first-ever berth in the NCAA Division II National Championship. This season, RSU is currently the top-ranked team in the Central Region and is No. 16 in the latest Women's Golf Coaches Association Coaches Poll after riding a four-tournament win streak heading into the MIAA Championships beginning on Thursday, April 21.
