CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State baseball will have to wait an extra day to get the 2023 season underway as their season opener on Thursday was rescheduled to due to the potential for inclement winter weather.
 
The opening game of the Dugan Invitational against Ouachita Baptist which was originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. in Hot Springs, Ark. has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. in Arkadelphia, Ark.
 
The Hillcats will now open the 2023 campaign on Friday, Feb. 3 against No. 2 Southern Arkansas at 10 a.m. at Majestic Park in Hot Springs, Ark.
