Hillcat Baseball Announces 2024 Schedule

CLAREMORE, Okla. – After making the MIAA Tournament for the third-straight season, Rogers State baseball announced their 2024 schedule on Friday.
 
The Hillcats will open the season on the road at the Dugan Invitational in Hot Springs, Ark. on Feb. 1. They will open the tournament against Henderson State on Thursday before facing off against Southern Arkansas on Saturday. RSU closes out the first weekend as they take on Arkansas-Monticello on Sunday.
 
The Hillcats open the home slate at the Diamond Sports Complex on Feb. 9-11 with a four-game series against the Colorado Christian. Other non-conference home games feature visits from UMary (Feb. 13), McKendree (Feb. 16-18), Northwestern Oklahoma State (Feb. 27), Southeastern Oklahoma State (April 2) and Southern Nazarene (April 16).
 
RSU will take its first non-conference road trip on Feb. 20 as they travel to Bethany, Okla. to face off against Southern Nazarene. Other non-conference trips include stops at Southeastern Oklahoma State (March 5) and Northwestern Oklahoma State (April 23).
 
They open MIAA play on the road on Feb. 23-25 with a visit to Wichita, Kan. for a three-game series with Newman. Other league road trips include stops at Emporia State (March 15-17), Missouri Southern (March 26), Washburn (March 28-30), Northeastern State (April 6), Central Oklahoma (April 12-14) and Missouri Western (April 26-28).
 
The MIAA home opener sees the Hillcats go up against Fort Hays State on March 1-3. Other league home series feature visits from Pittsburg State (March 8-10), Missouri Southern (March 12 & April 9), Northwest Missouri (March 22-24), Northeastern State (April 5 & 7) and Central Missouri (April 19 & 21).
 
The first round, best of three series of the MIAA Tournament is set for May 3-5 with the top four seeds hosting. The double elimination round of the tournament is set for May 9-12 in Pittsburg, Kan.
