KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rogers State baseball's Nate Wohlgemuth was named MIAA Pitcher of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
 
The Owasso, Okla. product earned his first win as a Hillcat in the thrilling 10-6, 11-inning victory over Emporia State on Friday. Coming out of the bullpen, Wohlgemuth threw 5.1 shutout innings, only allowing two hits with a season-high 11 strikeouts.
 
The Hillcats return to action on Thursday, April 6 as they welcome Pittsburg State to town for a three-game set. First pitch for game one is set for 2 p.m.
