RSU Women’s Golf Earns WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Rogers State women's golf was named one of the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team GPA Award winners, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
With the award, the Hillcats were recognized as earning one of the top 25 team GPAs in all of NCAA Division II. They finished the 2022-23 academic year with a team GPA of 3.708 which was good enough to rank them at No. 15. They were one of only three MIAA teams featured on the list with Northwest Missouri (3.850 GPA) ranking No. 4 and Central Missouri (3.627 GPA) ranking No. 21.
 
The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 700 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
