CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State baseball will begin the 2024 campaign on Thursday, Feb. 1 as they travel to Hot Springs, Ark. to compete in the Dugan Invitational for the third-straight season.

The Hillcats will play three games in the tournament beginning with Henderson State on Thursday at 10 a.m. They will face off against No. 17 Southern Arkansas on Friday at 1 p.m. and Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday at 10 a.m. All three teams saw action in the postseason last year, with SAU appearing in the NCAA Central Regional.

All three games will be live streamed on LiveBarn.com for a fee. Once on the page, fans can type "Majestic Park" in the venue search bar. All games of the Dugan Invitational will be played at Babe Ruth Field.

Last season, RSU made its third-straight appearance in the MIAA Tournament before falling to eventual champion Central Missouri in the first round, best of three series in Warrensburg, Mo. They finished the year with a 26-22 record.

In 2024, the Hillcats bring back 12 players from last year's squad, including All-MIAA outfielder
AJ Folds as well as
Geovanni Blackshaw and
Octavio Sanchez, who led the league in saves last season. Head coach
Chris Klimas also brought in 14 newcomers in the offseason.
