ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Rogers State men's golf wrapped up competition at the NCAA Regional Preview on Tuesday.
After three rounds at the Par 71, 6,577-yard St. Joseph Country Club, the Hillcats finished in 11th with a card of 886 (+34).
"It was another great tournament for Elliot," said Head Coach
Steve Brown. "This is not a golf course that's easy to play and go low on if you have not played it very much. He's been doing a great job of being patient and picking the right times to be aggressive with his shots. As for the team, I know we are better than our results this year. It's my job to bring it out of them, and that's what I intend to do."
Elliot-Han Monteremal led RSU in a tie for fifth after shooting 207 (+6) for the tournament.
Tyler Collier finished in a group of six tied at 40th with a card of 222 (+9).
Thomas Barnes Grimes finished in a group of seven tied at 51st with a 224 (+11).
