Monteremal Concludes His Season With Final Round At NCAA National Championships

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – Rogers State men's golf's Elliot-Han Monteremal closed the book on his 2023-24 season with the final round of the NCAA Division II National Championships on Thursday.

After three rounds at the par 71, 7,419 yard Orange County National Golf Center, Monteremal finished in a large group of 10 tied at 45th with a total of card of 217 (+4). His three-round score is the lowest in school history at the National Championships, passing Luke Palmowski's 247 (+31) at the 2021 National Championships at the par 72 Champion Course at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

The senior started the day off strong as he sat at two-under through the first five holes. Unfortunately, Monteremal dropped three strokes over the next two holes and finished the front nine at one-over.

The back nine was not much friendlier as he sat at four-over through 13 holes. Like he had all tournament, Monteremal regrouped and sank two birdies in his final five holes to finish the day with a 74 (+3).
