LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rogers State softball finished the season at No. 12 in the final National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Coaches Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday.
 
Down two spots from the last poll of the regular season, the Hillcats finished as the highest ranked team from the MIAA, ahead of No. 14. They were the second highest team from the Central Region, behind No. 8 Augustana and ahead of Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma Baptist, who received votes.
 
RSU capped off another banner season as they finished with their second appearance in the NCAA Super Regionals in three years after sweeping their way through the NCAA Central Region II at home. The Hillcats also captured their first-ever MIAA Regular Season Co-Championship enroute to bringing home their second MIAA Tournament Championship in three seasons.
