NORMAN, Okla. – Three Rogers State men's golf student-athletes have been named Cobalt Golf All-American Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA) announced on Thursday.
Julian Alanis,
Elliot-Han Monteremal and
Ty Nicar all received the honor after their excellent work in the classroom and on the course during the 2023-24 season. To be eligible for this award, an individual must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
