A CORUÑA, Spain – Former Rogers State women's basketball student-athlete Alayzha Knapp has signed a professional contract to play for Marista Coruña of Liga Femenina 2 in Spain.
 
"I am so excited and honored to have received this opportunity to play professional basketball in Spain for Club Maristas! I will do my best to make Coach Davis and the RSU Hillcats proud!"
 
Knapp wrapped up her career on The Hill after the 2023-24 season where she led the team and was second in the MIAA with 17.4 points along with 6.0 rebounds, 45 assists, 33 steals and 25 blocks. In her season debut, Knapp missed the single game school record by two points with 36 points in an 84-74 win over MSU Moorhead. Knapp earned Honorable Mention All-MIAA honors at the end of the season.

Marista Coruña, based in the town of A Coruña on the northwestern coast of Spain, compete in Liga Femenina 2 which is the second division of the professional women's basketball league in Spain.
