Hillcat Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State Head Men's Basketball Coach Justin Barkley announced the Hillcats' 2024-25 schedule on Monday.
 
RSU will open the season on the road as they travel to Billings, Mont. to compete in the D2CCA Tipoff Classic. They begin the tournament on Friday, Nov. 1 against old Heartland Conference foe Texas A&M International at 4 p.m. CT. On Saturday, they take on host Montana State Billings at 8 p.m. CT. They close out the event on Sunday against another old Heartland Conference foe in St. Edward's at 6 p.m. CT.
 
They then travel to Little Rock, Ark. on Nov. 8 and 9 for the Central Region Challenge against Ouachita Baptist and Harding, respectively. Other non-conference road trips include stops at Drury (Nov. 16) and Southern Arkansas (Nov. 23), as well as North Georgia (Dec. 17) and Missouri-St. Louis (Dec. 18) at the River City Holiday Classic in San Antonio, Texas.
 
The Hillcats return to the Claremore Expo Center on Wednesday, Nov. 20 for the home opener against Haskell at 7:30 p.m. Other non-conference home games feature visits from University of the Ozarks (Nov. 30) and Southwestern Christian (Dec. 14).
 
RSU begins MIAA play at home on Dec. 4 as they host Missouri Southern at 7:30 p.m. Other league home games include Pittsburg State (Dec. 7), Newman (Jan. 2), Fort Hays State (Jan. 23), Nebraska Kearney (Jan. 25), Missouri Western (Feb. 6), Northwest Missouri (Feb. 8), Central Oklahoma (Feb. 15), Northeastern State (Feb. 26) and Arkansas Fort Smith (March 1).
 
The Hillcats take the first league road trip of the season on Dec. 22 as they travel to Edmond, Okla. to face off against Central Oklahoma at 3:30 p.m. Other MIAA road trips include visits to Arkansas Fort Smith (Jan. 8), Northeastern State (Jan. 11), Pittsburg State (Jan. 15), Missouri Southern (Jan. 18), Emporia State (Jan. 30), Newman (Feb. 1), Central Missouri (Feb. 20) and Washburn (Feb. 22).
 
The MIAA Tournament is set to return to historic Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. on March 5-9.
